The purpose of the Council is to unite African professionals across New Zealand and to promote the recognition, development, and celebration of their skills, expertise, and contributions to New Zealand society.

Objectives of the APCNZ:

1. Provide a platform for networking, professional collaboration, and mentorship among African professionals.
2. Promote career growth and leadership opportunities through training, conferences, and partnerships with New Zealand institutions and industries.
3. Celebrate and highlight the achievements of African professionals in diverse sectors across Aotearoa New Zealand.
4. Encourage community participation, cultural exchange, and integration within the broader New Zealand society.
5. Advocate for fair representation, diversity, and inclusion within workplaces and public institutions.
